Scroll Prev Top Next More

The 'Recategorisation Request' page can be accessed via Policies >> Recategorisation Request.

When access to a particular site is blocked, the system will display a block page stating the reason that a website has been blocked.

The block page will inform users what category that website is classified under.

If you believe a blocked site should be allowed (or vice versa) and has been placed in the wrong category, you can request that the site be re-evaluated and possibly recategorised. This is done by submitting a request via the recategorisation request form.

To submit a recategorisation request, you should complete the fields asked for on the page.

1.Enter the full URL of the page you wish to be recategorised

2.You can click Show to see the current categorisation of the website, to double check that the category is incorrect

3.Select the category you believe the website should be classified as

4.Explain why you believe it's incorrect

5.Repeat for any other URLs

6.Press Submit Request.

When a request is submitted, you will receive an email confirming the case number and it will be evaluated by the our Service Desk team.

You will be notified on the case of the outcome to your request.
