Establishments using SchoolProtect are able to safely test which SchoolProtect categories are allowed and which ones are denied on the http://testschoolprotect.co.uk/ website.
Please note: this website will only function correctly if your machine is being filtered by SchoolProtect. You can check whether the machine you are using is being protected by SchoolProtect by visiting http://wsblock.co.uk. If you are able to successfully visit this website, without being presented with a block page, you are not being filtered by SchoolProtect.
On the Test SchoolProtect website, each URL in the category table has been categorised in SchoolProtect in the corresponding filtering category. Therefore, if you can successfully visit a URL without being presented with a Block Page that category is allowed.
Once clicked, if the category is allowed you will visit a page saying that the category is allowed. You can press Return to return to the main page.
If the category is denied, then you will receive a standard block page saying that the category is denied.
Please note: that a SchoolProtect administrator can run further tests on the Test Tool page & make changes to category definitions on the Categories page.
